I am a recently graduated veterinarian from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. I have worked with animals, in some way/shape/form, since I was a child. I worked as the primary caretaker for a small animal rescue from 7th grade until 10th grade, and then moved on to kennel work at the local veterinary practice up until leaving home for college. Animals are such a huge part of my life that I don't remember a time that I wasn't involved with them. I am comfortable with all pets, and I understand not every pet will be "perfect." I empathize with dogs with separation anxiety and shyness, I understand that high energy dogs need more attention than your typical couch potato, I can appreciate that sometimes an accident will happen in the house-- and that's okay! I'm here so you can leave your babies and have peace in knowing that they will be treated with genuine love and care. As a pet owner myself, I know how anxiety inducing it can be to leave your babies with a stranger, which is why I will support anything you may need during the process. Extra meet and greets? Maybe a couple of supervised walks prior to leaving? Would you like to hang out at my place to see what it's like? 30 pictures a day? You name it, I'm game! Being a veterinarian, I am educated in companion animals health and well-being. I know how to handle MOST things (because hey if I knew it all I would be rich hanging out in the Caribbean Islands 😉), from behavior issues to health emergencies.
