Grad student and puppy lover

Pet care experience

I love working with pets, having cared for a variety of animals in private homes and on professional farms and homesteads. Most recently, I fostered for six months a seriously ill puppy given to me by a stranger on the street, who is now healthy and in his new forever home. I am comfortable providing abundant exercise, feeding, administering medication, and practicing skills with your dog.

Elizabeth went above and beyond caring for my pup. She handled a stomach bug that he caught and kept me informed on how he was doing. Really appreciated!!

Elizabeth is clearly very experienced with taking care of and training dogs. My 6 month old pup loved hanging out at Elizabeth’s, and he was tired and happy when I picked him up each time! Elizabeth is a responsive, professional, and trustworthy pet care provider!

Elizabeth was awesome! She took excellent care of our senior dogs while we were out of town. Lots of walks, snuggles, and playtime. We couldn't have asked for more.

Elizabeth was great with my anxious pup! She was very flexible, accommodating, and communicative. Would definitely have mac stay again in the future!

Safety, trust & environment

I’m eager to give your dog abundant high energy exercise, in the neighborhood or elsewhere. I particularly enjoy taking dogs on hikes or to parks (depending on the dog and always with your permission). My home is relaxed, quiet, and predictable (e.g., no children or road noise, no dishwasher, etc.).

Information Elizabeth D. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your pet has any particular needs, medications, allergies, or a preferred schedule. I am comfortable administering medication and monitoring behavior in addition to the fun stuff :)

A typical day

We'll play it by ear depending on how we're all feeling...typical activities could include long sniff walks (while I catch up on my podcasts!), hiking and romping in the national forest, play time with other dogs I know (only if your dog is into that), indoor games of tug or sniffing out treats around the apartment, etc etc etc
