Pet care experience
I consider myself a pet lover, specially dogs, however cats have stolen my heart before as well. I have had dogs (small breeds like poodles and medium breeds like boxers and pitbulls) and cats since I was little and I always took care of them and their needs. I've learned a lot about dogs/cats throughout the years and experienced different scenarios (i. e. gestation, delivery of dogs, dogs/cats in heat, sick dogs/cats), which have given me a good understanding of their behaviour and allowed me to help them better. I also love playing with them (indoors and outdoors for dogs) and going out for a run or a walk with dogs. I believe there is nothing better than to gain the love and the trust of a pet by giving him/her a good quality of life, the way they repay back is with endless loyalty and happiness. I moved to Canada 7 years ago to pursue a graduate degree, leaving behind my dogs and cats, which are well taken care for by my family in Mexico, however, I miss them a lot and I found that my everyday life had a spark of joy thanks to them that I cannot replace with anything else. I will not be providing them with a service, they will be making my life a little more cheerful.

Eliza is simply superb! She stayed in our condo, taking excellent care of Nellie for 5 days. She even uploaded photos and videos while we were away. She is extremely responsible, and SO kind and friendly. We are very fortunate to have had her as a dog sitter. We will definitely use her again. Thank you, Eliza!
Elizabeth is amazing! I used her in-home services when I went away for 10 days and Elizabeth provided daily updates and pictures (and the occasional video too). She got along well with my cat. It was a sense of relief knowing knowing my pet was in good hands.
Great experience with Elizabeth this weekend, she stayed with my boy duke for 2 nights and sent pictures to us through the stay! Will book again!

If they are at my place, I will make sure that they feel comfortable to be around me and anyone else in the house (i.e. my housemate or guests). If they are not feeling comfortable with them, I make sure I am with the pets all the time and limit the number of people in the house. I also make sure to follow the feeding/walking/caring instructions from the owners. I always ask if there's any special needs or medications I need to be aware of and how they interact with other pets, indoors and outdoors. I live very close to a dog park so I can easily take them to there (only if they are used to going). There is also a fenced yard in my house where dogs can go potty in case they cannot do long walks or if they just need to go before bed time. I also try to have some playtime with them or petting time, everyone loves cuddles! If it is at the pet's house, I would basically follow the same as above plus any other instructions for garbage days, opening/closing doors, etc. All that while being respectful of the house and anything in it and maintaining it as clean as it was when the service started. In general, I will not accept requests if I cannot be with the pets for more than 8 hrs at the time unless you are ok with them being on their own for that long, if that's the case, I will make it up to them by walking them for long periods or playing lots with them! I'll make sure to give myself time to walk them in the morning before leaving to work and then again when I come back.

I would like to know if the dogs tents to fight with other dogs, if it is jealous if other pets around are taking all the attention. I would also like to know if she is in heat, in gestation or about to deliver. I consider good to know if dogs are adults/children friendly and if they are very active and playful or more calmed but still playful.
A typical day
We can go play together on a big yard located in front of my apartment with very low car activity on the street next to it, it also has a fence on the side of the street, so dogs are very safe. I also live very close to a dog park, which will be probably the most enjoyable time for your dog if he likes making friends! I love petting dogs, so I will be doing that as much as the dogs asks me to. I also do exercise at home daily, so maybe some exercise with the dog will be a fun and entertaining time for us.

Availability
I work full-time as a Manager at a bakery and the advantage is that I can plan my own schedule at work! If there is enough notice (2 weeks notice at least) I could arrange my availability to fit your time requests. If I happen to be free at the requested time I would most likely accept the request ;)
