When I was younger, I grew up with a family dog. I've been around animals all my life. I have 3 cats and I take care of my sister's black lab frequently. I am recently a current graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelors of science in fisheries and wildlife and animal science. I have extensive domestic animal experience as I have volunteered at animal control shelters, shadowed large/small animal vets, and watched many friends dogs in my time. I also have exotic animal handling experience because I was an animal care intern at the Lincoln Children’s Zoo where I cared for many different species of mammals, reptiles, birds, etc. I am excited to care for all animals and hope to care for yours too!
