If possible, please stay home to help stop the spread of this virus! But I understand that for many, that is no an option, so I am open and ready to care for your pups. I am an experienced dog sitter and can provide your dog with an active, fun, and caring environment. I have plenty of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. There is one pet in my family, my GORGEOUS eight year old Tibetan Spaniel mix. She is very social and gets along well with every dog she's met. I am not working during this time, so I will be home to provide 24/7 care and can follow whatever schedule your dog is accustomed to. I live in a cozy basement apartment, so we take lots of walks in the beautiful Germantown area to get plenty of exercise. I am well stocked on treats and toys for playtimes, and your dog will receive lots of love and attention during his/her stay. About this sitter: Let your dogs feel safe at home while you're away. I can provide in-home care and give your best friends lots of love and attention. I am home 24/7 during this quarantine time, so I am able to follow whatever schedule you have in place. Keeping the same routine they are used to, will help your dogs adjust to you being away and prevent separation anxiety. Depending on your dogs' needs and preferences, we can go for long walks, or just stay inside and cuddle and relax. We'll have a good time and send you lots of updates, pictures, and videos. I spent several years during collage working at a boarding/daycare facility and have plenty of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. Why I love dog sitting: I have loved dogs all my life, and I've been dog-sitting since I was 16. I worked at a boarding/daycare facility during collage but had to leave when I transferred. At the kennel, I was responsible for feeding, cleaning up after, and walking boarding dogs. I also worked in daycamp, controlling a room of 10-30 off-leash dogs, big and small. About my yard My apartment lets out into a big grassy field. It's very sunny and leads out to a wooded area for lots of on-leash exploration. There are also lost of sidewalks and hiking trails around for plenty of exercise. My experience administering medication: I have experience and am comfortable administering most medications.

My dog has been dog-sat at least three time and this time he seemed genuinely excited when he realized where we were. He gets along well with her dog and there are daily pictures of him getting cuddles. He comes back home and seems happy.
Cody had a great stay and we got good updates and pictures to assure us he was doing well!
Elizabeth was super easy to work with and sent great daily updates. Our dogs got along well and I loved the pictures
Rosie loves staying with Elizabeth and playing with Ginny. She knows when we are getting near their house and pulls us up the walk. Always returns tired and happy!

I have worked with basically every breed (Chihuahuas, Great Danes, Pitbull Terriers, Malamutes, Shepherds, Yorkies, Pugs, Rotties, etc), and I am comfortable with every breed.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks: I love walking my dog and my boarding dogs. We usually walk on the sidewalk or grass around the neighborhood, about a mile. Dogs are much happier and more comfortable when they are well-exercised, so we walk longer or multiple times a day, depending on the needs of the dog. Occasionally, I take the dogs hiking on a path near my house, it's about three miles and much more of a workout. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Wherever your dog feels most at home. Usually, my boarding pups will camp out on one of my two couches, but I leave my bedroom door open, so if he/she feels most comfortable with me, that's fine too! My dog is crate trained and sleeps in her crate so she does not try to play with her friends all night long! Time I'll spend with your dog: I am a music teacher, so I am temporarily unemployed. This means I am able to be with your dog all day! We'll have tons of fun, and we'll make sure to send you updates, pictures, and videos!
