I am so happy to have found Elizabeth. I have always been too nervous to leave my anxiety-ridden dog alone with anyone, which has limited my vacation time with family. Now I don't have to worry! As soon as my dog Charlotte excitedly met Elizabeth during the meet-and-greet, I knew it would be a great match. Elizabeth read my (lengthy) instructions and completely understood how to take care of my high-maintenance dog. I felt so ...

Elizabeth did a great job house sitting and keeping me posted about our sweet Edward. I'm happy to begin what I hope will be a long lasting relationship, thanks so much!

Elizabeth did a fabulous job with Max over a 5-day long weekend. She sent pictures and updates frequently, and was extremely diligent about following instructions for Max’s care. She took excellent care of the house. Max was happy to see us when we got home, but not ecstatic, which I always take as a great sign that he got really good care while we were gone. I would highly recommend her!

I walk the walk, and bark the bark.

I’m all about embracing my true passions instead of moving about the world on autopilot. It’s funny how this milestone makes most people reevaluate their lives. We all have different things that bring us joy and a sense of purpose, but working a corporate job just wasn’t doing it for me. I didn’t want to spend another minute working in a cubicle and staring at a computer screen. I’ve decided ...

What Elizabeth would like to know about your dog

I like to know as much as possible about each dog I meet. I prefer meet and greets in your home where they’re comfortable and find out their daily walking route if they have one. I always want to know about any dog’s reaction to other animals (particularly cats and other dogs), humans, or children. Do they like long walks or short walks. Do they like going on hikes, or for drives? What are their favorite treats, do they have allergies, and what rules they may have in the house such as no getting on furniture, or no bones unless they’re outside, or no treats unless it’s a reward. Every dog is different so I like to know as much as possible. Photography is another big passion of mine so I’ll happily send lots of photos and other updates throughout the day. Open, clear communication is a must, so please feel free to contact me anytime!

When Elizabeth watches your pet

I love taking dogs to Great Falls Park. There are great trails for all animals. I also enjoy taking them to Great Country Farm while their produce is in season so we can walk around and pick fruits and veggies. I also enjoy long walks at Burke Lake, Lake Royal, and Bull Run. All are dog friendly and I typically go every other day weather permitting. I try to follow each animal’s schedules as closely to their regular routine. All dogs are different so their needs will be very different, but I will honor each dog’s preferences. Your pup’s safety, health, and happiness are my utmost priority––always.
