Pet care experience
I'm finishing my bachelor's degree in zoology and looking to make some extra cash, but above that, I want to give your pet(s) a fun time! I've had my own dog just turn 10 years old this year, own a 2 year old cat and just under 1 year old cat, and a juveline leopard gecko, and have pet sit many times before signing up for Rover. I am currently working part time in the zoo field and just finished an internship in animal husbandry, so hiring me is a great way to get pet care for you and keep my skills sharp! I'm also willing to feed and clean up after other pets (not just dogs) such as lizards, ferrets, cats, and small furry critters. I'm a recent addition to Rover, but I'm eager to get going to keep myself active and make sure your pets have everything they need to stay happy and healthy!

We were new to Rover and called on Liz to supplement our "regular" dog sitter who could handle only her regularly scheduled visits due to her daytime work schedule. Our impaired dog needed additional day visits and we could not leave town without this extra support. Liz quickly stepped in, was obviously comfortable with a very impaired dog in terrible weather conditions, and communicated well with the other sitter. I would definitely recommend her.
Elizabeth is a delight! My Paco just loves walking with her. He is satisfied when he gets back and ready to chill. He gives her lots of love. We appreciate you Elizabeth and will be using your services in the future.

I had Liz watch my 2 large dogs , Jelly & JoJo , one Labre doodle and one golden doodle. I also have Kiki my kitty. I had to be gone for a week & my dog JoJo just had surgery on her Achilles tendon. She was in a cast and it was snowy out , every time to let Jojo out we had to put a boot on her and walk her slowly to go potty. My other dog jelly is handicap due to a back seizure and has special needs as well. Liz did so well in taking care of the both of them. I knew they where in good hands with such a caring sitter. Liz is a caring and very knowledgeable about animals. Rest assured if Liz is watching your fur babies! :-)

I'd like to know about any personality quirks so that I can be prepared for what each individual dog brings to the table. I don't have a problem with dogs that are less than polite, but it's nice to know before I start! I enjoy taking care of dogs of all shapes and sizes!
A typical day
I live in the Forest Park Apartments, so there are lots of places to walk and run on site and nearby. For clients outside the apartments, I love walking around neighborhoods and enjoying the sunshine! We can bring toys to play fetch and tug of war in a nearby dog park, or we can just hang out!
