I have always loved animals since I was a little girl. My first dog was a beagle named Elvis, he sparked my love and passion of caring for animals. Throughout my life I have taken care of 20+ stray dogs that have either showed up at my house or that I picked up that were left in the ditch or side of the road. I grew up in the country-side and it’s heartbreaking how often I found dogs that had been abandoned by their owners. They needed to feel loved and cared for, which I did with delight. The last stray I took care of I couldn’t let go of, I named him RJ, I have had him for almost 4 years now. I have pet care experience that began at a very young age. I would love to continue to care and meet as many dogs as I can! This is the main purpose of my decision to join Rover. I also know how difficult it is to leave your pup alone all day or board them at the vet. I’ll keep you updated and send you as many pictures as you’d like throughout the day so you don’t have to worry! If I am keeping them for more than 2-3 days I will bathe them, so they go home clean and ready to play and cuddle with you. I will care for your beloved family member as if they are my own.
