I grew up in Miami, Florida. As a kid, it was no surprise that I connected with animals naturally. Some kids played with their imaginary friends. Meanwhile, I played with lizards, stray cats, and dogs, which I mostly tried to bring into my home. At 7, one of my first pets was Twinky, a rescued poodle. Watching him grow and being able to care for him, feeding, bathing, walking, playing, skateboarding (yes, true story), and cuddling with him, permanently left an impression on my heart. Shortly after, I became so drawn to the process of raising animals. I ended up fostering two kittens left by their mother in my backyard at the age of 12 (much more begging and pleading to my parents); slowly but surely, we had taken care of parrots, ferrets, cats, and dogs! (We even rescued an owl at one point.) Now, fast forward, and feel free to call me a "Cat Lady" I currently mother four cats (whom I fostered and adopted). I have devoted my life to animal care through volunteering, fostering, hosting Cat yoga events at Cat Cafes, working at an animal hospital as a representative. The idea of dog walking and pet sitting began shortly after leaving the animal hospital position in the mid-pandemic. Out of pure curiosity, I downloaded this app...one great experience and review led to another. So here I am, 4 years into full-time dog walking, pet sitting, and cat care. I know now I was destined for this path and look forward to meeting more furry faces while enriching their lives throughout this journey!!
