Currently, I am a going into my senior year at NC State majoring in Psychology and minoring in Political Science but, as my schedule is slowing down I am looking for some work over the summer. While I am at school I am a Young Life Leader for NCSU which has taught me to be very intentional with my time. While at NCSU, I am also the Community Service Chair of my sorority and frequently take girls to the SPCA as well as throwing a big fundraising event every semester for Pawfect Match Rescue. This event matches families with rescued dogs as well as, raising around $2,000 for the cause. My love for dogs originates from having had a dog since I was seven years old. I have always been in charge of feeding, bathing, walking, watching, playing, and loving him. Two years ago, my first dog passed away which was heartbreaking, but in his last few months, I had to take really close care of him because he had a heart murmur and a brain tumor. This past year, I got a new puppy which I successfully potty trained and continue to take care of. I have always loved animals and grew up taking care of dogs so I feel as if I have the right experience in order to successfully house and/or dog sit.
