Pups have been a part of my life since the day I was born. I was raised on a farm in Kentucky, and we always had a dog or two that I could run around the property with! As such, I'm very, very comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes, and I've raised chihuahuas to golden retrievers mixes to my current, lovable pitbull. I believe all dogs are good dogs, and they just want love and good walks! My constant contact with dogs as a child has nurtured a true, deep love of dogs, and as I've grown older I've gained the respect of their behavior and personalities that helps me work well with the pups I meet! With the adoption of my baby boy, Bramble, I was introduced to the wonderful world of positive training methods. While I am not a trainer, I still use the thought process and methods of positive reinforcement to help pups stay safe, comfortable, and engaged while they're with me! I've read many books, articles, and tips on dog safety during walks, and I prioritize the comfort and safety of the dogs in my care. I do own a car that I can use to transport pups to calmer, quieter areas of the city if they're nervous in crowded areas. I make sure every pup is safely secured in the car before I even think of driving away. Any treats I use will be sure to align with your pup's diet and any allergies they may have! I like to do meet and greets with dogs whenever possible, as this not only helps the dog get more cozy with me, it also helps me assess your pupper's needs and energy level so that we can have the best walk possible!
