I believe that there’s just nothing like having the love of a dog in our lives! Being around pups make us so happy because they’re always full of joy and happy to see us no matter what. That loving, selfless spirit has always inspired me, so being a dog sitter is my way of doing what I can to give back to pups in need! I love the smile on a dog’s face when they know that they’re loved and well taken care of, so it’s simply my mission to bring as much puppy happiness into the world as possible! Providing excellent care has always been in my repertoire, and I always bring those skills to bear when taking care of pups. My work experience outside of sitting has centered around care and customer service (including as a babysitter), so making people feel good is my expertise! In terms of dogs, I’ve been a long time dog owner, and currently own a very playful Chocolate Lab. I’ve also done volunteer work in the past for the local animal shelters, including taking on projects where I sewed crate covers for them. I just love providing great care! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. My goal is to always go above and beyond when your pup is in my care. I know that no one wants to be away from their best friend for very long, so I always like to provide lots of regular updates on how your pup is doing! That can include information on anything that you need to feel in the loop—from meal prep to exercise times to particular behaviors. And, of course, I’ll always send lots of great pics along so you can see just how much fun we’re having together!
