Hello! I’m Elizabeth. I have been sitting with Rover since 2018, and I love it! I grew up around quite the zoo, including dogs both large and small as well as cats, a rabbit, and a variety of birds! I can’t help but fall in love with each animal I meet. In high school I dreamt of becoming a vet tech and working in the veterinary field; I now work a day job in an office, but continue to love animals. I have been pet and house-sitting since I was a young teen and have volunteered at a local animal shelter on the weekends. I will make sure your furry friend is comfortable, happy, and safe while in my care. I look forward to meeting and loving your animal family!

When it comes to overnight visits, my preference is generally to drop in and visit your pet at night and first thing in the morning rather than staying in your home. If this is your preference, fantastic! If you would be more comfortable with someone staying in your home overnight, let’s talk about it. I also do drop-in visits and walks! Availability: I am generally free in the afternoon/evening after 6:00 pm on weekdays, and anytime on the weekends. Morning drop-ins can be arranged with advance notice as well.

What is your pet’s energy level? How does your dog interact with other animals? (i.e. on walks) If you have a cat, what is his/her comfort level with human interaction?
A typical day
When your pet is with me, we are going to have the best time ever! Dogs and I will go on walks near your home, all animals will have lots of playtime, and there will, of course, be plenty of snuggles! Whatever your pet’s energy and attention needs are, I will adjust to accommodate them.

As an office worker who can’t have her own pets yet, I love being able to spend my evenings with animals. Starting my day off with a visit is just as much fun!
