Love playing and going on walks!

Pet care experience

Pets have always been a very special part of my life, so it’s simply my desire to provide the same for them! I love taking care of dogs and just bringing more puppy happiness into the world whenever possible. Pet care is absolutely one of my biggest passions in life, so being a dog sitter really is a dream come true for me! Not only do I enjoy being able to give dogs the love and happiness they need to thrive, but I can also give back to my community by providing owners with peace of mind when they’re away from their best friends. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! My experience working with dogs largely comes from owning and being raised around dogs. In that time frame, I’ve worked with tons of different pups. I’ve cared for dogs recovering from surgery and dogs with complicated medical needs, so pups that need some extra TLC are always welcome! I’ve owned four rescue dogs of my own, so working with timid pups that require a little bit of patience and love is never a problem for me. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I know that it’s never fun to leave your best friend behind when you’re on vacation or away for work, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! My goal is always to make sure that you and your pup feel completely happy and comfortable during a stay. In fact, I like to get as much information as possible even before a stay begins. Getting a good idea of your care expectations is so important to me, and I always like to hear about what makes your pooch happy too! During the stay, I send daily updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how much fun we’re having together!

Elizabeth was a fantastic dogwalker. She was prompt and communicative and ensured variety in 3 walks over 3 days for our cockapoo. I would book her again anytime!

Elizabeth is kind and punctual; she is always on time and gets along great with Rusty! She clearly cares about dogs and understands the importance of their walks. I would trust Elizabeth walk for me any day of the week.

Your baby will be in the best of hands with Elizabeth. Elizabeth is loving, caring, and highly responsible. She will take the time to get to know your dog and soon enough your dog will look forward to her visits.

Elizabeth has walked my 7-year-old French Bulldog on numerous occasions as well as dog-sat overnight up to 10 days while I was away. She is punctual, reliable, and trustworthy. She follows all instructions I leave as well as treats my dog like her own. I would highly recommend her for anything from short walks to overnight care.

Information Elizabeth A. would like to know about your pet

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?

A typical day

I’m currently on summer break, so I have tons of time to spend taking care of your pup. That’s one of the best things about me as a sitter: I’ll be able to be right alongside them throughout the day. I’m a grad student at NYU, and getting to have some puppy love in my life is one of the best things about being on summer break. There are tons of great things to do around me, including a great dog park that has runs for both big and small dogs. I love meeting new puppy friends, so we’ll be bound to make some new buddies along the way for sure!
