I grew up with dogs since childhood and have had my own in adulthood (none in my home right now). I very rarely have ever met a dog I didn’t make friends with. I’m very comfortable with all breeds and have experience with senior dogs, including administering oral meds and injections. I love to spend time with dogs, talk to them, and provide good companionship for them. I love a good cuddle session! In addition to doing any tricks or commands dogs know to give them some mental exercise, I like to teach dogs to play hide and seek (make them sit and stay in one room, hide a small treat in another room, and call them to come “find.”) Walks near my home will be in a quiet, calm neighborhood with lots of flowers to sniff with nearby trails for dogs who enjoy more extensive hikes. Walks near your home will include sit breaks if dogs need them and practice walking politely. Stays in my home will include getting to play with my husband as well. He is also a dog lover and loves to play with dogs, whether it’s tug of war with a toy or chasing in circles around the couch. I can’t wait to meet your dog!
