Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Elisse. Although I do not have many Rover reviews, I am happy to provide references from owners of several dogs I have watched off Rover (including a Husky and Golden Retriever). I grew up in NJ and attended Georgetown for college and med school. I have had three dogs of my own growing up - a cocker spaniel, a maltese-yorkie mix (adopted), and a yorkie mix (adopted). I taught my maltese/yorkie mix how to do tricks including ringing a bell when he has to go to the bathroom. I am experienced with pet sitting. I love all types of dogs and enjoy playing with them and walking them. I truly believe dogs are "man's (and woman's) best friend"! I also enjoy babysitting kids and did so for several years in the DC area. I am available to come to your home for overnight visits. I look forward to meeting your dog! Please note, I am allergic to cats so cannot take house sit if you have a cat.

A typical day
I love going to Winslow Dog Park and Compo Beach (in the off season) in Westport. I love playing with dogs and making sure they are getting enough exercise and stimulation is definitely a priority for me.

Availability
I work full time (Mon-Fri) in Fairfield and Stratford. I do have most Thursdays off. I am available to come to your place to watch your dog OUTSIDE of my normal work hours. I can do a walk in the early morning and several walks once I am done with work. Therefore, my services work best if your dog is OK being alone from 8 to 5 on weekdays. On weekends my schedule is much more open.
