Pet care experience
I have been a Rover sitter for almost three years and have extensive experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, as well as many cats. I am a huge animal lover and think my biggest strength with regards to pet care is recognizing that each animal has their own personality and needs. I’ve had dogs my whole life, and am comfortable handling anything from high energy puppies to senior dogs with medication needs, or rescues dealing with anxiety or trauma related issues. While I've never had one of my own, I love cats and have had the opportunity to care for many with a wide variety of needs through Rover. I also have a small amount of experience caring for fish, bunnies, and geckos.

Elise always does such a great job with our two pups! We’ve used her a few times now and she’s been amazing each time. She sends updates to let us know how things are going along with pictures, and the girls always seem so happy. It gives us peace of mind knowing our dogs are in great hands. Highly recommend Elise!
We had Elise watch our dog Cooper for our wedding weekend, and he seemed so content when we came home, just like he would have been if we were to have left him for a day of work. She sent us a picture the first morning of the stay, and even asked if she needed to stay longer than we anticipated on the last day. Cant recommend her enough!
Elise was wonderful and very attentive to our young dog’s energetic needs. She updated us daily and followed our prescribed daily activities and often did more. She exceeded our expectations.
Elise was fantastic! My pup has anxiety and takes a little to warm up. Elise was very patient and considerate with managing Lana’s needs and I will definitely be reaching out again for an extended outage!

A typical day
On a weekday I can provide walks before work, at lunchtime, and/or after work, and I'm happy to play throughout the day as well! After work or on the weekends I'm happy to provide any kind of engagement your pet needs/wants, whether it's toys, enrichment activities, walks, dog parks, or anything else!

Availability
I work remotely from around 8:00am-5:00pm with some flexibility on when I start and wrap up for the day. For drop-in visits I am available early mornings or after 5:00pm on weekdays, and am very flexible on the weekends. Since I work remotely, house sitting is even more flexible. I am happy to work from your home and hang out with your pet(s) all day! I cannot host pets at my own home, but I am happy to travel to you for drop-ins or overnight stays!
