Pet care experience
Hello there! It’s your friendly neighborhood dog sitter 😊I have had my own fur babies for my entire life and love to take care of animals. I got the privilege to work at a boarding / dog day care last summer and it was amazing!! I’ve got lots of experience with dog sitting and overall pet care. I had the pleasure of caring for my senior pup until the age of 21 until he passed this April and I still have 2 more pups that are 6 and 4. Needless to say I’ve learned a lot from all of them and they’re the best part of the day. I love to take dogs hiking or taking them around the neighborhood if they are up for it or really whatever fits with their comfort and activity level. If you are going away for extended periods of time, no worries! I am a firm believer in regular photo updates and regular communication so you know your pets are in good hands. For any type of service that I am providing I like to know how your dog reacts when they come in contact with other dogs. If I am doing housesitting I would prefer to know what security measures are in place at your house.
A typical day
This is absolutely dependent upon the animal that I am giving care to! Just like humans, each animal has different likes, and dislikes. If your dog is super high energy, then we can go for a run or go to the dog park if they are friendly with other animals. However, if they are more of a stay in and unwind, kind of animal, then we will be doing that and maybe watch a good rom com ?
