Availability
I work part time from home, in a gated community—safe from traffic! There are two dog areas in my neighborhood, giving lots of areas to run around. It is my personal philosophy to only use these when no other dogs are present—just to be extra careful with the dogs safety!!

My house is one story with an open floor plan, giving dogs plenty of space to run around in my site, with bedroom/bathroom doors closed. I have a screened in patio area so dogs can be outside but out of potential danger in landscaping.

A typical day
Exercise and attention are MUSTS. If a doggie is up for it, we can explore the neighborhood and get all the smells! If the owner allows, we can jump in the pool after or sit on the shallow sun shelf. And of course play with toys!

Pet care experience
I cared for my first family dog since I was 8 years old, which was a Yorkshire terrier! We entered obedience and dress up competitions together! Ever since, I’ve loved meeting new furry friends whether it’s a tiny softball sized doggie friend or as big as me! I am able to be home all day and LOVE personal exercise, so any dog staying with me will get lots of walks and playtimes! It’s a win-win! My favorite part of this job is to send updates to dog parents to show the fun we have!

Elise watched Eve while we were on vacation and we were so pleased with how she cared for our Evie! She sent us lots of updates of walks, snuggles and playing with toys! Elise communicated with us well, asking if we were ok with her being out by the pool and in dog parks. We will definitely be asking for Elise to watch Eve again next time!
