Pet care experience
I've had dogs all my life. I had a Weimaraner from the time I was 3 until I was 16. I have had two westies for 10 years as well (who now live at home with my parents). I have helped my parents in taking care of these dogs through feeding them, walking them, tending to their needs, taking them to the vet, and loving them! I also fostered a dog a few years ago for a week and gave the dog a nice temporary home. Overall, I love all kinds of dogs very much and taking care of them brings so much joy to my life.

I do not think i have seen another human love dogs as much as Elise does. Being friends since elementary school, she has taken care of my dogs a few times when I would be away for work. After I came back, my dogs acted like they had a new owner. I highly recommend Elise to be a dog sitter. I think your pets will definitely thank you.
Elise will be a great dog sitter for any type or size of dog that is needing care. Elise has always grown up with dogs and spent much time with Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Weimaraner, Westies and Corgis to name a few. Elise loves her time with dogs and is very familiar with what it takes to make sure their needs are met and is extremely responsible.

I live in a large apartment with plenty of room to move around. My apartment also has a dog park which is a fenced in area for dogs to run around and go to the bathroom. I also live next to various parks and spaces that are great for taking dogs for walks. When I take care of a pet, I watch them all the time. I like to take them out often so they feel like they are being tended to. I would be watching them alone with no other pets in the home.

I would like to know if the dog has any special needs or things that I need to be extra attentive to. I also like to know if there are certain triggers for the dog such as objects that scare them so I can keep them away (I’ve had dogs in the past that hate the vacuum cleaner and get scared of even looking at it).
A typical day
I like to take dogs to the dog park in my apartment outside. I play catch with them and let them run around. I also like to take dogs on walks at the ASU campus outside because there’s super nice places to walk and it’s very safe.

Availability
I currently work a full time job from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday. I would mostly be available on weekends, but I could occasionally take care of pets on week nights as well.
