Pet care experience
I live in Capitol Hill in an open apartment space for your animal to relax in and make themselves at home. Animals typically gravitate towards my calm and inviting demeanor. I would love to get to know your pet for the weekend and take care of them like my own. My favorite part about animals is that each has their own personality, and it is so rewarding to see a pet relax and be themselves. I have 3 scotties back home in Massachusetts and I miss them dearly. Winnie's an old woman who loves her treats and sleep, Emmett is a spry pup who loves his walks, and Auggie is a crazy puppy who never gets tired. I fostered a dog back in March and have plenty of toys of his left over. I miss going on walks with him! I like to think I have experience with all dogs, big and small and my heart is open to all of them. ❤️

Elise has stayed with our pup twice previously while we were away on vacation and recently we really appreciated that she was able to pop over for an hour drop-in on very short notice! She sent us a cute pic and was communicative and prompt like always :) Thank you Elise!
Elise stayed at our house with our pup for 6 days and was great! She was very responsive and sent us cute pics each day. She was happy to meet us and our pup before our trip, which we really appreciated. We know that we're definitely over-detailed in the level of information we provide about our dog and house and we really appreciated how receptive she was. Elise was flexible around our travel plans (including staying late at our house until we knew our flight home was on time), which we very thankful for since air travel right now is so easily delayed. We loved that Elise was working from home so our pup got to stay in her normal routine and had someone home with her most of the time. She even gave our pup her monthly heartworm preventative when we realized that was due while we were gone. Thank you again for loving on Darcy while we were gone!
Our dog Ada loves Elise. Ada seemed very comfortable with her. Elise was very easy going and her communication was excellent. She helped us feel comfortable leaving Ada with her and sent regular updates and pictures.

We will hang out in my apartment watching tv, before we go for a walk at Cheeseman Park! I love going on walks, be it long hikes or short loops with dogs and making sure they have a good time. I'll play puppy ping pong with your pet, if you know you know!
