Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with multiple dogs; several work dogs, some hunting dogs, and house pets. I have cared for my neighborhood pets with Rover, in Richmond Va, for four years. With my 3 year old lab by my side, we are excited to meet new four-legged friends on the island!

Elsie was a wonderful sitter for my Maltese. Her dog got along really well with mine. Elise is easy to communicate with and her home was set up perfect for extra dogs. I’m so happy we found Elisa for our Corolla vacation.
As a last resort, I gave Rover a chance. I'm happy I did. Elise was kind and my skepticism quickly diminished with her pet experience, prompt response time, & clear punctuality. Updates were frequent and the overall experience was effortless. This accommodation granted my pup peace of mind, while allowing me to enjoy time with family. Highly recommend!

Elise was wonderful! She was available at the last minute to keep our labradoodles company while we went on a fishing excursion while on vacation! She even took both dogs for a walk on the beach!

Our dog loving household has a 40 pound lab mix that is shy but friendly! She loves to run and play in the fenced in backyard, especially when she has a friend to join her. When we aren't playing in the backyard or walking down the bike trails along the sound, we sit in the sunroom. Our dog walks on a gentle leader and walks very well with others! We also use crates to separate dogs if necessary when we are not home. Our dog is crate trained so if yours is not, that is not a problem. we also love to reinforce good behavior with treats! We use grain free, but are happy to use other specific treats if your dog has favorites!

I am currently working on my Masters of Divinity and Public Theology online, so I am always working from home. A potty break or walk down the sound is just as therapeutic for me as it is a pups!
