Pet care experience
As an animal lover, I've grown up with dachshunds and around breeds of all sizes and temperaments- from chihuahuas to pit bulls. I currently am a dog-mom to an 8-year old doxie-diva and a human-mom to two spunky mini dog-lovers. My experience as a pet owner has taught me how to handle and care for small dogs with particular health needs (i.e. doxies are prone to back issues and must be handled with extra care), but I show as much caution and gentleness with dogs of all ability levels and ages. I have an 8 year old dachshund who broke her back and was temporarily paralyzed 5 years ago. During that time, I provided several levels of care in order to nurse her back to full strength. I am very comfortable with the idea of caring for dogs who need additional care and attention.

Size, age, and special concerns that need addressed (health issues, back or joint concerns, etc.), general temperament, experience with unfamiliar people or caregivers, and attitude toward other dogs.
A typical day
I would love to be able to take long walks, and play chase and fetch if I have high energy dogs in my care, as my pup is more of a snuggler. That being said, I have lots of experience with relaxation, lots of belly scratches, and giving treats, when allowed.

Availability
I am currently a full-time mom of two busy kiddos with some flexibility to work with throughout the week. Along with that, I have allocated time on Wednesdays to keep a more set schedule and time block.
