Hello Pet People! They call me the Oprah of the pet world because I have a thing for connecting with animals who have a history of trauma and neglect. I’m a licensed social worker by trade, but after graduate school I realized I like animals more than people. All jokes aside... I will be sure to give your pet an energetic visit that is customized to to meet their needs. In September, services are temporarily exclusive to boarding/daycare in my home. My experience includes my own pets, foster animals, included pets with behavioral, and family pets wit medical needs. Additional things I can assist with: basic command skills and potty training. I have experience with puppies, all size dogs, dogs with behavioral/medical needs, and rescues. During hurricane season, weather and traffic will determine potential variations in route and duration. I look forward to welcoming your pup to the pack.

My husband and I have a 6 year old chocolate Labrador. We were heading out of the country and needed a dog sitter for 4 days. Elise was available and handled everything with care, awareness, and sensitivity to our big dog. She'd communicate with me several times a day with quick snaps of him, just to show me that they he was doing well. I think she also shared pictures with us because she knew we missed our dog, which was very sweet. As far a schedules and instructions, she was great. I couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter.
Elise is a great pet mom! She has a sweet dog named Chia that just adores her. She also has a HUGE backyard in which she plays fetch with Chia and chases her around in. I have two dogs myself, and when all three of them get together it's a hoot to watch them play and hang out. I think Elise and Chia would be welcoming hosts to any pets, they'd definitely have a fun time!

A typical day
Owners can specify. Visits will consist of a walk and some play. We will go for walks around your neighborhood or play in your backyard. I will use toys you designate safe for your dog. I enjoy hanging with the dogs in my backyard and using a ball launcher for them.

Availability
Working from home allows for plenty puppy play breaks. I keep a doggy bed in my home office to spend time with them throughout the day. Working from home also gives me time to keep dogs who need a little more attention during daytime hours. This is especially helpful with pets who experience behavioral and medical needs. I keep the space dedicated to comfort for myself and the pups. Anyone suffering with resource guarding will have their own safe space to relax while they visit.
