In-Home Boarding for Cats/Small Dog
Pet care experience
I have 14 years experience doing in-home cat boarding and cat rehoming (running an adoption agency, NYC Cat Rehome). I've also owned cats as cherished pets since I was 10 years old. Loving and affordable, I provide excellent care in my spacious 900 sq ft 3 bedroom apartment. A cleaner comes in once a week and there are plenty of toys, beds, blankets, couches and comfy chairs for the pets to lounge on. Cats can start out in a private room and stay there until they are ready to integrate with other cats in common areas. I have limited experience caring for small dogs but I do like them. I would consider medium dogs as well and puppies. I have degrees from NYU and FIT and mostly work from home doing freelance copywriting, so I have plenty of time to devote full attention to the pets. I'm artsy, intellectual and also very eco-conscious and recycle everything I can.

I will not board pitbulls or rottweilers. I only have a beginner's level experience with dogs and only watch small dogs. Let me know if your cat is a on a special diet.
A typical day
I live on a quiet tree lined street, perfect for dog walks. I will give the cats as much petting/cuddling as they want, but I will not force myself on them. I let them come to me.

Availability
I run a few other businesses, but mostly work from home. I have tons of free time to give attention to the pets. I sleep on the couch in the living room, where I spend most of my time, so am always available for the pets.
