Your Dog's Best Auntie
Pet care experience
I have yet to meet a dog I don't like! I've had dogs since childhood - a Basset Hound/Cocker Spaniel, a full cocker spaniel, and an australian shepherd/beagle and am the current happy companion of the sweetest Husky/Pyrenees/German Shepherd pup named Maisy. She was born in December 2020 loves to play, nap, and take long walks and is a very gentle soul who has also yet to meet a dog she doesn’t like. I have experience handling dogs with special medications, puppies in training, dogs who like crates and dogs who decide they are done with their crates, and dogs with sensitive stomachs. Maisy and I will happily provide love and attention and send your dog back home full, tired and happy.

Thanks for everything!
Elisa is the best!
Elisa was great! She and Maisy provided a welcoming home for our dog. She was accommodating and flexible and we appreciated all the pictures she sent while we were gone.
Repeat stay with Elisa!! My Katy girl is always happy and well rested and cared for by Elisa. I feel like we are leaving her with family. Elisa gives updates and pics daily. She is incredibly flexible with last minute schedule changes. We already have Katy’s next visit booked!!!

I have recently moved to Old West Durham to a house with a sunny porch and large yard (as of April 2022 a new fence is coming soon!). Your pet is allowed on the couch and will have a secret passage closet to hide in if they are afraid of storms.

Information Elisa S. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to know if your dog is food motivated, a cuddler, and how well they deal with other dogs. One of my favorite dogs in the past was great with people but on a lot of prozac because he wasn't great with other dogs. I do have a permanent resident dog, Maisy, who loves playing and walks and adjusts her style based on her companion. Let's do a meet and greet to introduce them!
A typical day
Your dog will receive plenty of play and walks as they want and will have plenty of opportunities to nap in the sun and watch the world go by. I'm looking forward to getting to know Old West Durham and the surrounding trails and area as I am new to town.

I work from home on a flexible schedule and take daily walks. Walks last from 10 minutes to 2 hours depending on the day and how good my podcast is. Your dog will fit right in and get attention, exercise, and love all day long. My job does require occasional travel so I am your best bet for random walks and sits rather than a consistent schedule. Let your dog spend their vacation with me!
