Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, whether they’ve been my own pets or others’. I’ve had dogs, cats, ferrets, sugar gliders, chinchillas, guinea pigs, and fish, and have taken care of all those animals, as well as horses, cows, goats, chickens, and reptiles. I enjoy making animals feel safe, loved and taken care of. I currently have a beautiful Manx. I currently have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I am very flexible and willing to take on the responsibility of caring for other animals. I follow direction well and will never put anyone, animal or human, in harms way. I am also capable of caring for higher needs animals.

Unfortunately, on my second day in Japan she notified me she would no longer be able to care for my pets because she had to go out of town to say her final goodbyes to a family member. If you have a family member who is not doing well and you might need to leave suddenly to say goodbye, you should not be taking responsibility for creatures that rely on you for their survival. It is an interesting coincidence that this happened just before Christmas.
Elisa has house/dog sat for us before, including last month. Have had arrangements with her for a few weeks to start sitting tomorrow morning. Already paid for the service and then get a message at 419 pm today that “unfortunately she will not be able to watch the dogs”. No further explanation. Now trying to rush to find a replacement when our flight is at 8 am. During the last stay she was not very responsive to texts. Would say “phone or service not working”. Did not send updates or pics of puppies as requested and other sitters have. Not reliable or responsible. Would not recommend and will not use again. Hard to prepare for vacation when trying to rush around and find new sitter 16 hours before your flight.
Elisa is so kind and warm-hearted, and my dog absolutely loves her. She was extremely responsive and helpful while we were away, sent updates every day, and she very generously helped shift things when I had made mistakes in planning out the calendar. She is considerate, compassionate, reliable, and all around wonderful. Thank you so much, Elisa!!
