I'm a communications specialist who is partially retired and loves dogs of all shapes and sizes. I've had large and small dogs for 30+ years from mastiffs and shepherds to French bulldogs. I adopted my dogs from rescue organizations and worked with one dog who came with severe separation anxiety after being kept in a vet hospital for 4 years as a blood donor. He became the mascot at my job where he was spoiled with toys and walks. I don't have my own dog now, so I joined Rover so I won't miss the fuzzy goodness of dogs. I love animals and volunteer for two non-profit wildlife organizations: Project Coyote (promotes co-existing with coyotes and more humane "management") and San Francisco Rescued Orphaned Mammal Program (the only organization in the city that rehabilitates and releases injured and orphan wildlife in SF). I'm a native Californian and have lived in San Francisco for six years.
