Hi, I'm Eli! I work with Maricopa County Care and Control as a Field Officer. I'm also a certified Master Trainer (through Jo-Thors Dog Trainers Academy in Georgia) and have been studying to become a dog trainer for over 4 years now, but have wanted to do this for many years prior. After getting out out of the Marine Corps I was able to train my sisters 2 dogs (Lab and Rottweiler) in basic obedience, and never forgot how much I loved the feeling. After years of dreaming, I finally found a way to make my dream a reality. I know I have a lot more to learn, and I'm sure will never stop learning (especially when it comes to dogs), but dogs have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I love them, and would love a chance to get to live what I love!

Wow! Did we ever hit the lottery with Eli! If you want a mature, knowledgeable, calm and confident person caring for your pet then Eli is your guy. We have a 5 year old abused rescue dog that we've had for 9 months. He's a great dog but does still have a challenge or two. He responded so positively to Eli on the first visit as soon as Eli walked in the door - and was following him around wagging his tail on the second. It's very clear that Eli knows what he's doing and that puts both us and our pup at ease. We're already booking Eli for additional visits including a 4 overnights stint as we're totally comfortable with him taking care of our dog and our house while we're gone. Eli is a professional!
Elijah is super professional and awesome! I was a bit nervous hiring someone to come into our house while we were away but we wanted our dog to feel more at home and relaxed versus staying overnight at a kennel/pet hotel. Elijah made me feel so comfortable and his background with his dog training is an obvious plus. I would definitely recommend his services for you and your dog.
Elijah was great with Dexter! It really was the highlight of Dexter's day when he could visit during my work days. If Dexter chewed something or got into the trash, Elijah was nice enough to clean it up and put it out of reach. Very nice guy and great with Dex. Thanks!

I have yet to meet a dog who is not a fan of me, and if I do come across one my goal would to be pals by the end of my time with them. I come to your house. So your house is the environment for your animals. I can handle most requests and special animal care. I work with whatever you need.

It would be good to know If they bolt out the front door, if they are leash, food aggressive, any quirks or special needs you can think of! Any hiding spots for cats would be great! They love to play the invisible game when they aren’t used to the new face in the house.
A typical day
I will show your pet nothing but ear scratches, butt rubs, and long walks all day long! I am an animal lover through and through, and will care for each as if they were a member of my family.

Availability
I will be available anytime between 4PM to 6AM Wednesday through Saturday, and all day Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I work at the shelter (Maricopa County Animal Care and Control) Wednesday through Saturday from 6AM to 4PM.
