I've owned both cats and dogs a majority of my life and began pet sitting on the weekends during my college years. I have cared for and been relied on for several local families when they go on vacation or away for the weekend and they know their pets are in good hands. I have also dropped in for an afternoon to make sure a new puppy could get potty breaks without worry. I owned 2 German Shepherds before my current rescue dog. I am very experienced in sitting large breed dogs. Currently I have a Pointer mix (medium size, 45 lbs) as well as 2 cats. When I work with a pet I offer the basic needs, companionship, and any extra care needed. I have given medication to both young and older dogs. I am able to help with any training if instructed on what and how they are learning. But mostly my job is to make your pet comfortable while you are away. I understand pet parents are nervous about leaving their fur baby with a person they just met. I believe in having constant communication with you, sending pictures of your fur baby having a great time with me. You can rest assured your pet will be taken care of!
