Ever since I have known Eli, he has had a genuine love for all animals— but he’s always shown a special affection and compassion for dogs. When my girlfriend and I adopted our puppy, Eli was the first one to visit with him when we brought him home for the first time. We had a lot of questions as new dog owners, and it was so great to have a friend who knew so much about how to care for a dog. It has been such a blessing to have his knowledge and care for dogs around us as new dog parents! Whenever we go into town together, Eli is always the first to spot a dog and ask the owner to pet them and play with them. You can just tell how much he appreciates all types of dogs, especially after having owning his own dogs for the 14 years I’ve known him. Eli would make a great dog walker or sitter and would care for any dog like it was his own, just as he has done for our dog!
