Hello, my name is Elena. I live in Washington, DC with my fiance but am in Florida with my family for the next few months because he is deployed and I work from home. I work in the field of international development for a research consulting firm. I walked dogs in DC for a little over a year and built a stable client base of about 4-6 dogs that I walked daily. My fiance and I also fostered dogs in DC and successfully found homes for all 4 of our fosters. The majority of the dogs we cared for were considered "problem-dogs" by the fostering agency, so I've seen it all -- separation anxiety, leash aggression, etc. I may be small in size, but I am very comfortable with dogs - including large ones - and am experienced with dealing with most dog issues. If your dog is well-behaved, it'll be a breeze for me! The only problem I'm not comfortable dealing with is aggression toward humans. I am generally available full-time as I work from home and make my own hours for the most part, so I would be available to walk your dog every 3-4 hours if need be. I'm happy to dog sit at your house as long as you have internet. I've also worked with a few clients with cats and am happy to take cat sitting/drop-in requests.
