Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Elena! I love animals so much, I actually just started fostering a puppy and it’s been great so far. I’ve been on and off rover for the past 4 years because of school but I just graduated from UConn this past May and have some time on my hands as I am now in grad school. Im so excited to be back on Rover!! I have the most experience in doing drop-ins with pets, and taking pets on walks, and I have provided doggy day care services for up to a month at a time. I also have experience in taking care of cats. I believe animals have feelings and that they can understand more than people think, so I make sure to treat all animals with love and respect. When I’m not working through Rover, I can be found training the puppy I am fostering or working a part-time restaurant job. I take pride in everything that I do, so know that your pets will be very well taken care of with me.

This was my first time using Rover. Elena did a very good job in her 5 day stay and was very responsive to my queries both before and during the stay. The animals and house were fine.
Elena was an excellent sitter for our dog. She stayed plenty long for the drop-ins, took him for walks and provided plenty of updates and pictures. Will definitely use again!
Elena did a great job taking care of my kittens. She not only fed them, cleaned their litter, but also spent time playing w them. She made them happy kittens while I was away for a week.
Elena is amazing! She’s so friendly. My frenchie is so needy and she never had an issue with anything I told her to do for him. She was always on time and even if I needed her last minute, she would be there!

West Hartford is a very pet/pedestrian friendly community with tons of parks to play fetch and go on walks in! My favorite place to walk is the resevoir!

Aside from classes, I am free during the week which allows me to be very flexible when it comes to scheduling walks and drop-ins on Rover.
