Pet care experience
I have 15+ years of animal care experience ranging from caring for animals since childhood (cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters) to dog and cat sitting for friends and family to caring for rescued farm animals at several sanctuaries in California. I have been caregiving on Rover for years now. My love for animals has made me passionate about animal welfare, which drives me to want to provide the best experience possible for an animal I receive the gift of caring for.

I live in a safe neighborhood with lots of trees and bushes for sniffing, and just a few blocks from the beach if you’ve got an explorer. My apartment is cozy and quiet and is home to my 12-yr-old rescue Pom who is good at sharing her treats and the attention. She often creates a feeling of comfort for guests by her motherly and confident presence. Your pup is welcome to cuddle up on the couch for Neflix and Chill or sit on the rug until they feel comfortable. If you’ve got anxious friend, I will make sure to provide plenty of patience and gentleness. My goal is to create a safe environment for comfort and play for your pup.

I find it important to know ahead of time if your dog has high energy levels or attention needs. If so, I like to make sure my schedule will accommodate. It’s also necessary to know if your pup understands boundaries with other dogs. My dog is older and mostly prefers to co-exist than play.
A typical day
My neighborhood is greats for walks. It’s pretty quite but there is plenty to smell and explore. If your pup loves to walk we will head to the beach path or if they are more anxious around noises and people we will stick to the quieter streets around my house or the grassy park nearby.
