Pet care experience
I have had a yellow Labrador , Chihuahua and a Dachshund. So I am use to all size dogs with different energy levels. I have taken them to canine aqua fitness, given liquid and pill medications orally and I am sensitive to elderly dog aches and special needs. I am willing to travel where needed. I am available Mon- Fri after 5pm and all day Sat and Sun. I would be willing to travel for pick-up and drop off if needed. I will do my best to meet any last minute requests. What I am offering is to get to know your dogs needs, personality and care for them as if they were my own. And yes I am that dog owner that sees nothing funny about canine aqua fitness class :)

We have not been away from our cats (4 of them) for over 5 years so of course it was important to find that right person for them. Elena did a wonderful job. The cats seem to have taken to her without the usual "stranger danger" . We will definitely use Elena again and highly recommend her for other pet owners. Thank you Elena for caring for the 4 little darlings while we were away and making sure they had attention during this time as well your photos and updates, much appreciated.
Elena was absolutely wonderful with Bulma. She was very mindful of the the special care she needed after two knee surgeries and Bulma seemed very happy when we got picked her up. Elena made us feel calm from the start and we would definitely leave Bulma under her care again.
Super responsive and caring pet sitter. We got photos everyday and Emmy immediately warmed up to Elena. We had an awesome experience!
Once again Elena cared for Benny perfectly well. Elena is kind, considerate and a brilliant sitter. Benny really enjoys spending time with her and we know he's in good hands and great care when Elena comes to our place.

If at my home I take on 1 med to large dog at one time. If small dogs I can take up to 3. I would also need to know if they have any anxiety issues. I prefer to look after high energy, really vocal or anxious dogs in their home/ environment. Unfortunately, I live in a small building.
A typical day
Ottawa has many great walking trails and dog parks. My Dachshund preferred the experimental farm (goes about her business) and my Lab preferred anywhere packed with people (i.e. downtown market ). I understand every dog has a personality and I enjoy getting to know them and plan walks to suit their preferences.
