Hi there! My name is Elena. I'm a recent graduate of Oregon State University where I got my degree in Marine Biology and Botany. I'm a huge animal lover and have been pet sitting for friends, family, teachers, and more for years. I have a very flexible schedule and can check in with your four-legged friends often. I would want anyone who takes care of my animals to treat them as their own, so I strive to provide the same level of care to any animals I'm responsible for. I love dogs and my family has two of our own, both little and old, so I'm used to caring for older dogs as well as younger ones. I'm happy to provide special accommodations that any animal (or human) might need and want to ensure you are comfortable leaving me with your pets. I recognize that our animals are a huge part of our family and selves, and I believe they should be cared for as such.

Elena was the BEST!! She was able to dog sit for my pups last minute and they had a blast with her! She sent me lots of updates and photos, and took my pups on lots of walks. She updated me when one of my pups got sick and even took her to the vet for me to make sure nothing was wrong. I am so thankful she was watching my pups and so vigilant with their care. I will 100% be using Elena again if I go out of town!
Elena is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring person to look after your precious pet! (And home.) This was our first experience with Rover and first time leaving our pup with a stranger - thankfully, Elena made it a seamless and worry-free experience! She was great with Olive, who can be a bit fussy at times. Olive is also on medications, which Elena was able to administer easily. Our house was left in immaculate shape and she indulged us with photos while we were away (we were missing our furry family member terribly!) we would absolutely book with her again, she is a lovely person and great caretaker.
Elena is one of the best dog handlers I’ve been around. She’s kind and they really listen to her. When she watches your house you feel comfortable and at ease because she’s logical and uses common sense and coming home is a real pleasure.
Elena was great! I received photo updates during the walks and felt sure my dog was well taken care of. I plan to rebook with Elena in the future.

I’d love to take your furry friend hiking with me or for a walk around the neighborhood. I’m a bit of a dog training and enrichment nerd and like to find different ways to get dogs to use their brain. Snuffle balls are a fun way to feed dogs, enrich their environment, and tucker them out. Let me know if you have a training regimen and I will help reinforce it during the time I spend with your animals.
