Pet care experience
I grew up around all kinds of animals and love the bond people share with their pets. In 2017 my husband and I rescued our first fur baby, Pika the tabby cat, from the streets of Phoenix (yes she really does sleep on my face every night), and in 2021 we brought home our second rescue, Trek the pittie/chow chow mix. They are our entire world! Whether it be running, hiking, walking, or going to the dog park, Trek and I are always on the move. Also like me, he never met a buddy he didn't like!! That said, I am very open-minded and entirely willing to give your dog that extra attention that they need. Baths, brushing, a visit to the Bark Park, you name it! I am a very active person by nature, so your dog's exercise needs are sure to be met. Looking forward to our play date! :)

My husband and I own a townhome with lots of shaded walking trails and grassy areas. Inside, Trek stays downstairs and has full access to the patio (enclosed with a 5-foot brick wall), which is accessible to medium-sized dogs through the dog door Trek, LOVES his playdates and wishes they could stay forever. He's an amazing at mirroring the play style of whoever his companion is.

I would love to know your dog's preferred exercise regiment and how I can best accommodate it! Feeding schedule and any dietary restrictions is also important.
A typical day
I make sure that each day is filled with both physical and mental stimulation with a combination of sniffy walks, fetch, a variety of toys (Trek is a beta and loves to share), trick practice, slow feeder bowls and treat holders.

Availability
I currently work from home Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, which also happen to be Trek's favorite days because he gets lots of walks! On the weekends you can usually find us on the trails or at the bark park in the mornings and then cozied up with our favorite treats in the afternoons.
