I'm an adopted pug owner (but I'm pretty sure that's actually the other way around). I fell into this dog breed by sheer accident (he needed a home and I wanted a dog). I currently volunteer with Pacific Pug Rescue only because over these last 4 years of loving my little man, I've realized the breed has a lot of challenges and that's often why they are given up. I do love a good challenge! Speaking of years, I've been pet sitting since I was 16 (20 years of experience). Having grown up with dogs, it came naturally. Honestly it was the best day of my life when I was finally in a position to own one myself. I live in a studio plus. I have a huge living area, a full kitchen and a sun room that serves as a living room, office and dining area. Plenty of bright indirect light, large trees that provide shade in the summer and an entire wall of windows that allow for fresh air to circulate. I live on a quiet street with many lovely homes and love to walk around the neighborhood with my dog (smelling the flowers that he then promptly marks). Oregon Park is only 7 blocks away and always worth the short walk. I work Monday through Friday which is why I pet sit over the weekend days & evenings (in a pinch I can find wiggle room in that schedule). I want to be available to your pet 100% of the time that I have them.
