Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Eleanor 😊 I have spent my life surrounded by animals, whether they are my own, a friend's, in a shelter, or on the street (street cats are my best friends)! I love both cats and dogs and give my everything when caring for them. I work full time at the MSPCA Angell Animal Hospital. I will be available for drop-ins and walks in the mornings of Sunday through Thursday and all day Friday and Saturday. Housesitting will be available Thursday evening through Sunday morning.* Animal experience: Six years volunteering for Buddy Dog Humane Society in Sudbury, MA 2+ dogs (incl. labs, beagles, hounds, and terriers) in family household since I was a baby! Multiple cat family household growing up Experience with socializing newly domesticated strays & semi-feral cats I have three cats of my own! Experience caring for large breeds (Great Danes), active breeds (Viezlas), temperamental breeds (Chihuahuas) I will accept boarding requests on a case by case basis for short stays (1-2 nights) only. Eleanor was amazing! She communicated promptly before our booking, came for a meet & greet, asked many good questions about Fiona care. Eleanor was wonderful in providing pictures or her stay with Fiona, refilling water, tidying up after Fiona's outdoor "business". I will definitely be asking her to continue caring for Fiona as her schedule permits. Thanks Eleanor!
Eleanor was amazing while staying at our house for 5 days looking after our cat and dog. Both of them require daily meds and our dog is high energy and requires a good amount of exercise. So, not the easiest two to look after! But Eleanor did it with ease and they both looked so happy in the many daily pictures she sent. We’ll be using Eleanor as a sitter for all of our future needs!
Eleanor is so caring and considerate. My pups loved her. Thank you so much for taking such good care of them!

The more I know about your pet(s), the better I can care for them. If I ask you a lot of questions, such as "how does your dog behave around other dogs/kids on walks?" or "is there anywhere your cat doesn't like to be touched?" it's because I want to ensure everyone (both myself and your animal) is happy and safe while in my care. I would appreciate knowing: Personality Behaviors Good/bad with children/other dogs/people/etc. Where they like/dislike being pet Stressors they may have (loud noises/crowds) Anything you can tell me to ensure your dog is happy and safe in my care is important. No detail is too small or too silly to know!
A typical day
If I am house sitting for your dog(s), I am more than happy to take them on long walks to nearby parks or even a trip to the beach or the Blue Hills. For regular dog walks (both 30m + 60m), I will plan a route around your neighborhood on smaller side streets, if possible, to avoid congested or high traffic areas. Please feel free to share your usual route with me or if there is a preferred part of your neighborhood you'd like me to stay within.

I will normally take a leisurely walk in the mornings and I am only happy to have your fur friend(s) along for company while taking in the fresh air.
