Pet care experience
Let us provide your dog with a loving home while you travel or work! Our family loves to play outside, go on long walks, and give lots of cuddles. I'm a stay-at-home mum so I am most often at home and can provide round the clock attention and care for your pet. I go on at least one walk a day with my own dog, a friendly Border terrier named Tum Tum. With three children ages 7 and under at home, we can only welcome calm, kid-friendly dogs. If you are looking for a place where your dog will be treated like one of the family, look no further! We can only accept dogs who are good with small children. Please do not send us a dog with no experience with young children. I require an initial meet-and-greet with your dog before the first stay with us. Please also send your dog with his own bed and crate (if he needs a crate when you leave the house to run errands).

Her family set up also provided a lovely child enriched experience and a very chilled dog companion.The videos and pictures and emails assuaged any guilty feelings of that I felt about leaving him. My lady Ruby had a wonderful time with Eleanor, Tum Tum is her new friend and they both matched very well in terms of the temperament and energy levels. Eleanor was very communicative, regularly updated me about Ruby's whereabouts. Her kids were great with Ruby too. I will definitely be back whenever I want Ruby to be at home away from home!

We have a very large fenced-in garden for your dog to enjoy! We go on at least one walk a day of a minimum of 30-45 minutes, and up to an hour and half if the schedule allows. I can on-lead or off-lead walks depending on your preference and your dog’s recall.

I need to know how much experience your dog has with small children. My children love to be hands-on and cuddly with dogs, and they can be a bit loud at times, so I need to know if your dog would be okay in that environment.
A typical day
We go on at least one walk per day in the beautiful countryside, and we have 2 fenced-in acres at home to enjoy. My border terrier loves to have a friend to play with in the garden so there a lot of that throughout the day, and I love having dogs with me as companions both for walks outside and cuddles on the couch!

Availability
As a stay-at-home mum, I have plenty of time during the day to devote to walking and playing with your dog. Our own dog is extremely friendly toward other dogs and loves to play, so your dog will have a play mate. My children like to help out with feeding, brushing, and of course playing with dogs who come to stay. Basically your dog will be treated as a member of the family when staying with us :) Lots of love and attention and outside play time.
