Pet care experience
Hello! I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, and my passion for them has expanded into my career. As a veterinarian, I can take care of all of your pets’ needs, medical, emotional, and physical. I understand that your pets only deserve the best and I’m here to help! I work full time 8-6p which means my evenings are absolutely free almost all of the time. I consistently have Sundays off and a smattering of days during the week depending on my schedule. I am an early riser and can stop by any day before work as well. I will not be the “one-and-done” pet sitter where a walk is a quick 5 min jaunt-I’m here to provide long, comfortable walks, play time, and socialization because they need mental stimulation and quality time just like we do! I strive to be someone who your pets are comfortable with. Some take a while longer to warm up, and it is their home so I am on their time! Your house, your rules, and I will ensure nothing is ever left out for them to get into. Safety (clean, locked, all items put away) is of utmost importance to your furry babies

Elana did a great job watching my two dogs for the weekend! Great updates and some good pictures to hold onto. It was nice knowing my dogs already knew her and they were in great hands.
Elana was absolutely fabulous! I have one cat that had to have medication this time around and Elana made sure she was medicated on schedule. She sent me photos & videos of the cats playing with her & my "troublemaker" cat snuggled with her every night. If you're looking for a responsible & trustworthy sitter for your pets, look no further! She's the best!
Elana did a fantastic job at taking care of our 2 cats and 2 dogs during our vacation. She sent pictures and let us know how they were doing. She is really great with our animals and I would highly recommend her.
Elana took wonderful care of our babies, and sent us frequent updates and pictures to help ease our minds while we were gone. And I think our babies made a new friend.

I will always ensure your house rules are followed-for your furry children and for general purposes as well. Need the plants watered and mail taken in on my way to visit? I can definitely do that. I will always lock up at any time I am not there as well-whether that is done for the day or for a walk.

Let me know if your dog has medications that they need to be administered, preferences for activities, or aversions for something. Knowing your dog does/does not like people, other dogs, or have any other fears that would be important to know. I do everything in my power to ensure they do not encounter fearful events on their walk or daily routine and strive to make them as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
Every dog is different and has their own preferences. If your dog likes to play fetch, we will do that. Each walk will vary (if they like differing routes) so they have access to plenty of new sights and smells. If they love routine, we will go along their preferred path. I can do long walks, runs, throw toys, encourage fetch and recall activities, or simply hang out if they prefer less stimulation.

Availability
I currently work full time but am able to come before and after work for walks, playtime, and bonding time. I have 3 days off a week and can come at any point during those days.
