Pet care experience
I was a vet assistant for 3yrs in RVA and have many references! My parents have farm animals and after years at the vet, there’s no animal who I don’t genuinely care for. I work from home and have great hours! I have completely open evenings as I have no children and 1 small elderly dog. I am not bound to my desk when home so I have time for walks. I have a bubbly personality and pets seems to pick up on that. I am a cuddler and love puppy kisses! As silly as it sounds, I put ice cubes in my dogs bowl because I feel she deserves ice cold water like me. The better they are treated, the happier they are!

Elana took our very last minute request to watch our dog over a holiday weekend and did a fantastic job. Having the peace of mind that our dog was in good hands while we were gone was great. We will definitely book Elana again.

Elana did a great job with our two dogs. She was very communicative, professional, punctual, and most importantly- a good caretaker of our pups.
Elana was great with Brutus! She is super at communication. We were comforted with the set up because she only takes one dog at a time, and there is an elevator which is great for Brutus since he’s struggling with stairs. She was around to keep him company as often as advertised and willing to take him out as much as needed. I felt confident with him in her care with all he has going on health-wise.

Stimulation is important to the growth of all animals. Human interaction and not just keeping a pet locked in a crate constantly is important. I would love to play fetch, take your dog on local walks on trails or even some water fun!
