My husband and I cared for a yellow lab for 16 years. We currently have a black lab 6 months old. My husband also had 2 dogs growing up. We believe in never leaving our dog for more than 3 hours a day. Because I work mornings and my husband starts work in the afternoon, our dog is only alone for about 2 hours 3 days a week. They are our children and we treat them no different. We spend a great deal of our day with our dog outside ensuring that he always has at least 3 walks a day (morning, afternoon, evening) as well as plenty of play time outside. We have a spacious yard and a playful pup who would love the company of other dogs. We only host one dog at a time in order to give your dog the proper love and care it deserves. Our girls adore dogs and play with them regularly. Your dog would be in great hands in our home. Despite only a 2 hour period where my husband and I are both at work 3 days a week, we still only offer our time from Friday to Monday night because my husband is home full time those days to ensure that your dog always has someone around. We feel that this the best way to host a dog and give it the love and care it deserves. We make ourselves available for your dog's needs. We are also happy to and encourage a day sit with your dog prior to a weekend stay to help your dog feel more at ease.
