Eastport Doggie B&B!
Pet care experience
My husband and I have owned multiple dogs, mostly two at a time, since we've been married, 38 years now. Two of which were rescue dogs and one of those two I actually rehabbed to be comfortable around other people and dogs. My daughter, Shannon, is also a Rover Sitter ("Shannon's Doggie Flop Pad"), and occasionally she has needed me to dog sit for her because of high demand. I really enjoyed the dogs I watched and my pups had a great time playing with them, so I decided to become a Rover Sitter myself! Shannon and I have been referring each other ever since. During your dogs stay, they will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. Our big, completely fenced-in, backyard lets the dogs run, play and explore as much as they'd like. I can also take your dogs for walks if that is part of their daily routine. No need to bring toys, we have toys galore. Unless, they have a favorite they can't be without.
Reviews
Elaine was WONDERFUL! Lots of updates and photos. Juniper was excited to come home, but also seemed a smidge sad to leave Elaine, which is wonderful :) 1,000% plan to book with Elaine again.
Elaine was wonderful with our Jack Russell, Skipper, while we were away on vacation for 10 days. I think he loved being with her other dogs. Highly recommend!!!
Elaine was able to take our pup on short notice after another sitter cancelled due to a family emergency. She is experienced with different breeds, and her house fenced yard provide a good setup. She provided regular updates and the pup came home happy. We would definitely recommend Elaine.
Elaine stepped in at the last minute to help take over our dog of three days while my husband had knee surgery. She was wonderful and took great care of Maisie. We will definitely remember Elaine in the future.

Information Elaine Y. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog takes any medication or has any special needs or behaviors that I should be aware of. My preference is for any breed less than 42 pounds and over 1 year of age. I love elderly dogs, but please don’t bring if they are frequently incontinent.
A typical day
A typical day starts out with a romp in my fenced in back yard and taking care of business, followed by breakfast then either nap or play time, whichever they prefer, I typically offer to let them outside about every 2 hours or more if needed. They typically have free run of my house. I do prefer to crate them only when both my husband and I leave the house, for their protection from each other while we are gone. Dinner is given between 5p and 7p. I prefer to have the pups sleep in bed with me at night, but I can accommodate whatever owner’s preference is at bedtime.

Availability
Taking care of your pets is my first priority! I am home most days all day, if not me, my husband works from home full time and is my partner in caring for the dogs. I do work very part time outside the home, a few days a month, I’m never gone for more than 3 hours at a time.
