***Services Explained Below*** I am Eileen, a graduate student at Michigan State University pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology. I offer Pet Sitting Services throughout Ingham County, namely in the Lansing, Holt, Okemos, and East Lansing communities. So, why should you hire me, some random graduate student to watch your beloved pets? I grew up on a hobby farm, raising everything from cattle to chickens. Because of this, I am a very hard and dedicated worker. Also, you do not need to worry about your big lug of a pup pulling me around the yard, a 100 lb Mastiff is nothing compared to getting a stubborn cow into the milk parlor! Furthermore, I have been in college for seven years, and have learned time management along the way. I will make sure I schedule my day so that your pet gets the best care whenever they need it! Having studied in veterinary medicine for two years, your animals will get excellent care: I know how to give medications to all sorts of animals, and how important it is that they continue to receive them right on time. Moreover, I have an inborn compassion for animals, so your pets will receive my undivided adoration while you are away. Sitting: I charge $25 per day, and $5 per additional animal. For this rate I will stop at your home 4 times a day to let out your animal and play with them for at least 30 minutes. During each visit you will receive a text or email with a photo of your pet. For $50 a day I will stay at your house overnight from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am in addition to three, 30 minute daytime visits. This plan includes a photo of your pet per visit, in addition to one, pre-scheduled phone call to update you on what exciting things your pet and I have been up to that day. At $100, the top sitting plan I offer. I will live at your house for the duration of your stay. With this plan you will receive a photo of your pet every 4 hours from 7 am to 10 pm, and have one, pre-scheduled phone call to update you on what your pet has been up to. Walking: If your pet needs to be walked, I charge $10 per 30 minutes of walking, when you have booked me as a sitter. Just visiting to walk your pet is $15 for 30 minutes. If your pet is a long distance doggy, I charge $10 per additional 30 mins of walking. Additional Animals: Dogs and cats are $5 per additional (no charge after 5th), exotics are $5 per enclosure, and farm animals are $10 per species. Extras: I grew up on a farm, own exotic animals, have 2 years of veterinary schooling under my belt, and have countless hours of veterinary shadowing. This means that I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. It also means that I can do whatever needs be done for your pet, be it giving medications (included in sitting fee), trimming nails ($20), doing beaks ($40 includes nails), or just smothering you pet with affection whenever I stop by (priceless). Chores: I am also able to do chores around your house including shoveling snow, mowing, raking leaves, laundry, vacuuming, you name it! I charge $10 per chore, and this service is only available in addition to a pet sitting visit. ***All sitting plans include mail retrieval free of charge!*** I am available nearly every weekday and most weekends.
