I have grown up with dogs since birth. I can't imagine life without a dog! As a kid, I was the "go to" sitter for my neighbors. I used to take care of their dogs and cats while they were away. At the moment, I a nurse practitioner student who occasionally works part-time from home. I have 4 year old shepherd-mixed rescue dog named Finley. I have a lot of experience caring for unfriendly dogs. Growing up, my family's dog wasn't friendly. I was taught from a young age to never put her into situations that would endanger her and/or the dogs that she encountered. My dog Finley is incredibly anxious, which manifests as unfriendliness towards other dogs. I am incredibly conscious of where I take her and which dogs I let her interact with. I also have experience with dogs with separation anxiety, allergies, cancer, and chronic illnesses. If your dog has any health conditions or behavioral issues that I should be aware of, please do not hesitate to share them with me, My schedule is pretty irregular. I’m currently in class on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and occasionally have classes on other days throughout the week. I won’t be able to provide services on a consistent schedule, but I am happy to help when needed! I like to treat other people's pets as if they were my own. I love to take my dog on walks and hikes and to provide her with lots of love and snuggles. When I am providing pet sitting services, I seek to make your pet as comfortable as they can be when you are away. I try to keep things consistent and to follow your routines with your pet. As a dog owner, I understand how difficult it can be to leave your furry friend with someone new. I want to make sure that both you and your pet feel comfortable when I am providing them with care.
