Pet care experience
I became a dog- and cat- lover as an adult, never having had pets as a child. When I met my husband, I fell for his dog! She's gone now, and I want to love on every dog I meet!

Eileen was wonderful from the first meeting where she asked really good questions to get to know our dog, to sending us updates everyday on how he was doing. We have a nine year old dog who is super sweet but takes time to warm up to new people. She was very conscientious of meeting him where he was and being sensitive to his personality. We came home to a very well cared for and happy dog. He got walked everyday, had access to her fenced in yard and got a lot of attention. I hate leaving our dog when we travel and get super anxious about it. Eileen make it so much easier for all of us. Thank you, Eileen!
Eileen is an excellent sitter who took great care of our Boston Terrier and our home. She’s a real pro, and provided updates and pics while we were overseas. Highly recommend.
Eileen was fantastic! Our little pups can be very needy, and has a bit of separation anxiety and Eileen catered to his needs so that he was always comfortable and cared for while we were away. She sent photos and updates regularly and let us know that he would t take his meds two of the days we were gone. We appreciated her honestly and also sharing how she tried hard to get him to take his meds. Baron can be stubborn with his meds. We would love to work with Eileen again in the future!
Eileen was wonderful with our dog Scooter. This was the first time we have left our boy with a Rover sitter overnight and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Eileen is reliable and clearly loves dogs. Our guy isn’t easy but she found the soft side of him and hopefully enjoyed her stay just as much as Scooter seemed to. Will definitely rebook!

Pets are family, and I will do everything possible to keep them safe and happy. We have a large, fenced yard - great for finding new things to sniff and squirrels to chase. A dog door downstairs makes it easy for them to come and go. Lots of space inside for pet beds and other comforts, too. For pet sitting in a client's home, I'd be sure to know the normal routine, the safety features of the home, emergency numbers, etc.

What are your pup's special needs including medication, diet restrictions, activity limits. How is your fur-baby around unfamiliar people and animals? What commands do they respond to? How long are they used to walking? Where do they sleep/bedtime routine? What are their favorite ways to play?
A typical day
Our large fenced yard provides opportunity for exploration, games of fetch or tug, or just a snooze in the sun on the grass. We have several dog parks that are close, one at the beach. There are two wooded parks with well kept trails within walking distance.

Availability
My husband and I are both retired, so have very flexible schedules. Much as we love being together, time apart is healthy, too. And, walking dogs helps me get my steps in.
