I love all breeds. Big dogs are my favorite, but the speed of a smaller pooch always amazes me! I would like to know whether the dog is food aggressive, toy aggressive, or protective of their owner. Any allergies, conditions, or injuries the dog might have will be necessary to make sure they are safe at all times! Preferences and dislikes are always important to be mindful of, and I will follow the explicit instructions of pet owners to the letter.

If your dog loves to run, he will be in very willing and able hands! I am a very energetic, athletic person who loves running with big dogs, sprinting with little dogs who might think they're big dogs, and playing any and all games for those more distracted "proverbial puppies!" I am very attentive to every dog's needs, personalities, and routines. I am a very verbal person and love talking to dogs. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of St. Thomas, and i continued my education towards a Master's degree from City University of Seattle in Tacoma before the pandemic brought me back to Houston.I feel like every dog should enjoy themselves as much as possible, while knowing when to let them RECHARGE with necessary downtime, bathing time, or water bowl time! I am always willing to walk a restless pup, and not let them stay cooped up inside or on their beds all day. I also enjoy the dog parks and play areas in the Heights where I have lived all my life and around Houston. I enjoy spending as much time as possible around animals and the outdoors. I can commit to spending dedicated hours directly with every dog in my care. A normal day with me would be the wake up routine before feeding. I normally walk my dogs before I feed them, but I follow the directions of the owners for each dog I care for. I like to have the radio/TV on most days to keep my dogs entertained. If anyone around me does not like animals, they are not around me for long! I like a positive environment to stay content, and I don’t raise my voice in a shouting or screaming way. I believe animals respond more favorably to a calm and happy presence and engage more with a happily firm voice filled with praise. Barking is always a sign of something, so my ears stay tuned to every sound a dog makes! I will not instill any habits or behaviors contrary to an owner's parenting style, or that would in the least bit negatively impact a dog.
