I LOVE animals. I talk to them and interact as much as possible. I had a cat for 17 years that passed recently, and nowadays I just visit neighbors and play with their pets. Everyone that has a dog or cat in the neighborhood, can't understand why their pets like ME more than they like hanging out with THEM! Each pet is different, and I seem to be able to figure out who wants to be left alone, and who wants to get some activity in. I come from a 'Pet Family'. Throughout my life we had plenty of cats and dogs. My mother has 9 cats and 2 dogs now, each with their own personalities. The dogs love when I come into town, because they know it's going to be 'Play Central' for the next few days with me there!
