Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I work part-time remotely and am currently completing a Veterinary Assistant program at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. Because of this, I’m able to check in on pets, provide walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship at different times during the day and evening. My flexible schedule allows me to be reliable and responsive, making sure pets receive consistent care and attention whenever it’s needed.

Hi, I'm Edward – Dog & Cat Care
Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Edward, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 17 years of hands on experience caring for dogs and cats through fostering and volunteer work. I’ve had the opportunity to support many animals in need, including fostering pets and helping with adoption and community events here in the RGV and through the Austin Animal Center. Through this experience, I’ve learned how to care for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m comfortable providing daily care such as feeding, walking, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I’ve also cared for vulnerable animals during winter fostering efforts by providing warm housing, food, and attention. I’m currently completing a Veterinary Assistant program at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, which has expanded my knowledge of animal health, behavior, and proper care techniques. My goal is always to treat every pet like family. I’m also happy to send photo updates and regular check-ins so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m also happy to provide photo updates and regular check-ins so you always know how your pet is doing.

Reviews

Edward was a fantastic care taker for my 2 large dogs. He played with them and kept them fed and watered. He was punctual and responsible. I felt very comfortable with him coming into my home and taking care of things while I was away. I highly recommend Edward to care for your pets.
